i just remember group buy goin on a while back and he was nockin some $$ of if you had so many buys or somethin like that. just wondering if anybody was doing a group buy or if someone might want to head up one.

coupon code underdog will knock the $8.95 shipping off an order of $99. That's using the link zabeard listed. That puts the 3.0 pulley at $75 shipped.

Roller rockers will be at $249 again soon. That's $30 off. If you are looking to buy now, PM me and we'll work it out.

I'll get in a group buy for the 3 pulley/belt within the next week if someone is looking at getting the set . . .

jgc2521 09-12-2007 10:09 PM

thats a possible 3 for the pulley combo. and you meant $175 for the pulley right? just wondering if i was dreamin or not... about the rockers, i need to get to sleep, but ill probably pm tomorrow about some questions about the kit.

oh yeah graniteguy, what order would you do mods in? (rocker, pulley, chip, etc) and do you think a intake is really worth it?

graniteguy 09-12-2007 11:14 PM

no. $75 for the crank pulley.

To each his own on the mods. I prefer to keep the cab quiet. Younger guys seem to want it loud, so exhaust and intake are high on their list.

Tuner
Intake
Pulley
Catback
traction bars
headers
roller rockers
limited slip

Go as your budget allows in any order. if your new to wrenching- the catback, intake and pulleys will get you some experience.

lol, im young but i dont want loud... ive thought about the magnaflow because i heard it sounded good but wasnt raspy or loud, but kinda just talked myself out of an exhaust. and deffinatley not new to wrenching. I grew up on a farm, and have rebuilt several motors, and tractors. the only thing tractors arent as finicky, so i dont know.

are you recommending just getting the crank pully instead of the kit, or just sayin lettin me know that its $75? just curious. thanks again

Yeah. The crank pulley gives the HP.

The alt pulley is good if you idle for long periods of time or have a large sound system. Reason is you won't get a good charge until about 850 rpm with just the crank pulley. The alt pulley corrects that.

The water pump pulley is just lighter. Any gains would be unmeasurable from it. It's good to complete a color scheme though if you go with red or blue. The calculations i made on the water pump pulley (trying to quantify the gain) is equivalent to removing 20 pounds of dead weight out of the bed of your truck.

I'm in for a 3.0L pulley combo group buy. I want them in blue.

Magnaflow is what I have on my 3.0 and it sounds awesome, clip "should" be in signature

I like the sound of my MagnaFlow. It's not loud but noticeable.
