i was wondering if it was possible to put in a more powerful altenator. i run fogs and strobes and i believe it would help supply more power to help when i have them all on. didn't know if it would hurt anything. just dont wanna run the battery down. or other suggestions to help when using so many lights?

Thats what she said. haha

Yeah you can get a bigger alternator. Stock is 130 I think and you can get a 240. I believe those numbers are correct. Someone else will chime in im sure.

Just remember to do the wiring too.
Alt to battery, battery to starter and don’t forget the new grounds.

Alt to battery, and grounds, yes! Battery to starter, can remain the same because a higher capacity alternator
will not increase the current drawn by the starter when
cranking.

Talk to D&B in Tennessee. I think they ar in Kingsport, or nearby. They are excellent. Nationally known, and I dealt with them when i was there. Real pros and they know their stuff. They could have sold me a bigger alternator, but let me know mine was okay for what I would be expecting of it.
For my 95 they build them up to 200 amp. Maybe more now.
