Borla Mufflers

Sometime soon i wanna get a Borla muffler, probably the Turbo model.
http://www.borla.com/products/universal.aspx

If i got a new muffler, i'd get all the new piping too. What size muffler would i be best off getting, and what would be the best size for the inlet and outlet piping on my 3.0?

I want some power from my exhaust, and good sounds. If you have other suggestions, let me hear them. Also let me know what you all think of the Borla mufflers.

Borla is definitely a good choice, now which one.. i dont know much about the different models. As for piping, i'd recommend 2.25" (some go with 2.5", but i'd stick with 2.25" w/ ur 3.0)

the turbo model says its for smaller engines up to small-block v8's. so i'm guessing thats best for my truck. theres also the Pro XS models.

whats stock piping on my truck?

The Turbo-XL is the 1st Borla muffler i had, at the time i wanted LOUD and it didnt deliver the loudness i required.

I now have a Borla Pro-XS (small case) muffler, and i think it is no longer than 12-10" Its a center offset Pro-Xs muffler (borlas site will tell you the length). Its as loud as the the flowmaster 40's, and what not.

You are going to want 2.25" piping.

I think you'll be happier with the Pro-xs and 2.25" I/O
