Rear lift is an 2" longer shackle, and 2.5" longer block with an additional leaf from another stock pack squeezed into my original spring pack.

Be advised though that it stresses things and brakes and front suspension parts wear out much faster.

A body lift AND spindle lift is too much lift for a daily driver. The very high center of gravity makes 'em too "squirrelly" for my taste.

so your sayin that if i just get 3"spindle lift for the front and 2" blocks and like aleaf and ill be good with 35s. is their a better way then that?

I dont rub the top of the wheel well. My tires seem to move forward when im going throuh some really rough stuff and rub the front of my wheel well so i dunno. I also have the sport trimming so im not really sure if its bigger or not.

My 31's never rubbed there, but my 35's just barely do. Note some changes I've made like getting my stock block custom welded (takes a welder who has the stuff and knowledge to weld cast to rolled steel) to an extension block so I still have bump stops that work.

Also, I took my flares and "re-pinned" them. You have like 3/8" to 1/2" between your flares and the inside lip of the fender well. by bashing the metal lip in a little, then drilling new holes for some of the mounting points (mainly just at the bottom) you can "flex" the flare back a bit and give yourself some more room -- essential in the front. I've posted on this before.

However, my flares have a small gap between the flare and the body metal because of the warping of the flare that is necessary to make it flex. I don't mind, but if you're a perfectionist you probably shouldn't be offroading anyway, lol.

Nick, nobody makes a "foolproof" lift for our 2WD's that you just bolt on and run 35's. There's always some "issues" to work out. Take your time and plan as best you can, then test it patiently and do what you have to. Every truck is a little different anyway, and 35's range from 34" to almost 36" in diameter new, depending on the tire and manufacturer.

Ok i have a quick question going along with this. I have an 04 Edge that does not come with tow hooks. Can I get a set of tow tooks that bolt to the frame, or are the required to be welded on? Thanks for your help

well you gotta either get a new crossmember to add them on your truck because yours and mine doesnt have holes plus it isnt strong enough unless your 4x4 then it shoulda came with one. i dont have tow hooks either still trying to figure that one out.

If you are going offroading in a 2WD you will want a locker and a winch, well that is what I had on my old F-150 and it could keep up with the 4x4s.
