CHEAP diy mod that will show alot of pickup

ok well i did this to my 96 ranger on the gas pedal u can pull it forward to u meaning u have some play i nthe cable for the tb. my play of cable was a lil more then half an inch so i pulled it towards me and put three sip ties around it till i took out all the play so now when i mash it i dont bottom out the pedal and i reach those horses that i didnt know i had =]



alot better accleration from stop and go to passing

i can even use od now =]

get a car, lol... these trucks are not meant to be speed on wheels, besides we have the aerodynamics of a brick.

Soo.... this is under the hood i climb under neath where about the gas pedal would be and i....? what? wrap the ties around the steel cable itself in the green circle or do something with the red circle... please excuse my noobieness.. Name:  huh.png

Size:  226.6 KB after looking under the car at the transmission for 5 min i deiced to look above the gas pedal :P and its clear as day and rather easy to get to but no zip ties there all at work nooooooooo :( i want them now :cry: ive got atleast an inch of slack !! cant wait to put down a new burn out :D

OH! And yea does this actually work??? My 04 has a little slack in the pedal.. What exactly does it do? It cant honestly "give" hp.. Or really free up any.. is it just better throttle response?

just did the mod... can't tell if i can tell a difference. lol but its there now. i might change the zip ties out cuz i only had used ones ha ha now thats cheap
