Couple questions

I have a 2000 3.0l v6 ford ranger I want to turbo it. I need a parts list. I know I need forged pistons but what size/brand should I get? I know I need a manual transmission can I take one from a different ranger? What years would fit?

This is a forum and has a search feature located at the top. Anyways, your motor sucks ***. Just swap in a 4.0 from a ranger and you'll have the power of a turbo on top of your 3.0. Or swap in a 5.0

Once again, use the search feature located at the top!

True That!
I have a 4.0L and it feels like a Turbo...At least I know it beats most Honda VTEC motors at the drag strip...Or the 5.0L (302 ci) is great as well, but the 4.0L is where its at

lol what kind of crack are you smoking to believe yourself when you say your 4.0 can smoke any honda vtec at the track? my last car was an acura rsx type s with vtec and it would blow the damn doors off any ranger i have ever been in. the 4.0L sohc is a pretty decent engine, has pretty good torque and horsepower but it is not something fast
