........Don't lean on the door?
But really, can you adjust the door latch to pull it tighter closed? Like maybe adjust the striker plate? |
what and where is the striker plate?
|
maybe try the interior section or exterior section for help since this is for engines

The best way is to remove the switch and reinstall it. You have to remove the door panel and remove the switch from the bottom of the latch on the inside of the door. You twist it about a 1/4 turn and it comes out. Clean it up and relubricate it and your good to go.

DON'T USE WD-40. You want a silicone spray. WD-40 will dry up quickly. Trust me it works if you use a silicone spray and slam the door a few times. It took a week of me spraying the door once a day and then just using it every day.

ok i will try that but i just had an idea couldnt i just take out the fuse? or will that mess up other stuff with it?
|
I think it is wired with the dome light, so I think you would lose that as well.
