New truck

Hey guys whats up as yall can see this is my first post on these forums even though i have been looking on them for a week or so somthing like that. well anyways i have 2001 ranger with the 3.0. i put in a k&n drop in filter in it and drilled holes in the stock airbox to give it a little more airflow. well anyways i have a couple of questions about the truck.
1. i also have a nissan 240sx and it is my drift car. i was wondering if the ranger will be able to pull a 2600lbs. car on a dolly??
2. if i lower it will it affect the towing capiblity??
3. will a efan and underdrivepullly help with towing.

thats about it for now but thanks alot in advance and i really like these forums i am on a ton of forums and this is one of the best ones im on.

Yes your truck should pull that amount of weight. Just keep it out of overdrive. Welcome to the site!

Yes, yes, and yes. Just get some trailer brakes and you'll be fine.

it uses a coil pack.. which could also cause a misfire if it went bad, but if it's been neglected for quite some time, those plugs are most likely the reason.. get those pics up! hah

awww so it just uses one coil pack for all 6 cylinders interesting. my rb20det (skyline) motor in my 240sx uses individual coilpacks ontop of each spark plug cool setup. well anyways yeah imma just do a good tune up like plugs wires, and the coil pack and see if i can get that ugly miss outta there. thanks

yea, lots of cars now a days are going to indiv coil packs.. the have their strengths and weaknesses... as for misfires..

injector fouled
vacuum leak
spark plug
wires
coil pack

theres more haha

indiv coils are good bc when one goes out u can still drive, and u dont have to replace them all.. bad side is when u have to replace them all its not $50-100 for the pack, its like $50-60 a pop... (i work at az.. ppl hate the indiv thing)

also i gots another question really a poll kinda thing i guess. well i wanna put some new rims on it and i found some i really like i just dont know what size to go for. 20's or 18's. im thinkin 18's will fill the wheel wells pretty good and not rub and i can run a bigger tire so it wont ride like ****. or get 20's?? what yall think i dont want to be ridin high either lol.
