Rockers, hate to say it, I didn't find them to be worth it. Yeah, it'll let you rev a little higher and supposedly make your truck run smoother, but it didn't feel any smoother to me. Obviously, the valves open more with these rocker arms, but I only HEARD the difference (exhaust note was a bit louder). It's a lot of time-consuming work.........not necessarily hard: take off upper intake manifold, both valve covers, tap all 12 stud holes to 5/8", thread new studs into heads with retainers, torque to spec, install 12 rocker arms and adjust......then reassemble. I need to go back into my driver-side head and re-adjust those arms though, I have one tapping bad. As for the cam........other components have to be addressed to "match" the cam specs (intake, fuel system, exhaust, valve springs, and so-forth). Here's a 3.0 with a pretty "wild" cam though, just if you were curious.........

Whew! man oh man if didn't know any better I'd swear that was a 302 under the hood. That was the sweetest sound. Is there any chance I can get the engine parts you used please? That is what I've been looking for. with 4.10 gear ratios and my "shorty exhaust system" and no rev limit i'll have an even better ride than what I have now. Please spill the beans A.S.A.P.
