Overheating

Overheating

I was driving home from work last night and when I was about to exit, my temperature went up for 10 seconds. It went back down to normal but when I was almost home it went back up. Any thoughts??? There is still coolent in the radiator tank

eric, your thermostat might be going out.

Mabe.. I was thinking it might be my water pump, heater wasnt working at idle

mine did the same thing and was leaking coolant so i shut it off. after letting it cool for a bit, i then started her back up and it hasnt done it since.

thermostat? water pump?

why would it leak once but not do it again?

any suggestions?
