Flex Fuel Spark Plugs

Hello, I have been doing some searching and can't find a definite part number for plugs that work best in the flex fuel rangers. Since our stock plug was discontinued by ford I get a mixed bag of part numbers from motorcraft to autolite. If you guys could help me out and post what plugs run the best in our trucks it would be great. Oh yeah, as far as I know I am running stock plugs in my 99 flex fuel with 107500miles on the clock. Thanks!

The part number plug you want is: AGSF12FM

Go to this site, and under "search for part number or keyword" enter AGSF12FM

https://www.bluespringsfordparts.com...ord-parts.html

I ran a set of these in a '99 3.0L FFV, and here is what they looked like:

You can see the effect of opposite polarity spark from Ford's EDIS. The GND electrode is eroded on the passenger's side, and the center electrode is eroded on the driver's side.

O'reilly Auto parts also has the plug. An alternate part number for the AGSF12FM is SP-495:

My Alldata has the plug listed as a AWSF32PP? Havent changed my plugs yet so I havent actually tried to track these down, but, by typing the part number in that site it looks like those were superseded as well, and the description says 01-07 3.0 DOHC, strange. Takeda is that what ford would give you if you walked into a Ford dealership and asked for the original plugs for this truck?

Below is the plug information from the 1999 Ranger user's manual. Ford stop carrying the AGSW12PP (double platinum) years ago, and substituted the AGSW22PP, used in the 4.0L, and a hotter plug. They didn't run well, and I talked to a Motorcraft rep at SEMA. He said to use the fine-wire version (AGSW12FM). I tried it, and it ran great.
The AWSF32PP is a much hotter plug, and is used in the NON-FFV 3.0L:

Thanks Bob, you have helped me with the mixed bag of plug numbers. I'll pick a set of those up when I do the change. Thanks again.
