I was driving for around 15 minutes and stopped on the side of the road. I turned the truck off immediately and upon startup again it started but was idling at around 200 rmp. I do not know why or how it even was idling.

 

No idea on that one but I'd go thru spark, fuel, etc - check the wires and all that stuff.
