Gas Mileage Question?

Recently I have my gas mileage has gone down. I was wondering since it is getting cold out and I have a cold air intake with no shield or anything, could this be the reason becuase it is sucking in colder air than usual so it has to add more fuel, making my gas mileage go down? Is this reasonable? Do you think putting my stock box back in would help?
Thanks

usually the cause of bad gas mileage in the winter is stations selling different gas than they do during the summer, most people have the same problem, I wouldn't worry about it

Also, a lot people don't let their motor warm up enough. They just start it up and go. You're not going to get nearly as good gas mileage with a cold motor vs. hot/normal temp. motor. Now this would affect people more that travel a short distance as their motor doesn't have any time to warm up.

Another thing, check your tire pressure. It may have gone with the cold temps.
