help quick...

I am trying to install a k&n 57-2533 onto my 1999 ford ranger 3.0.... Everything was going good untill I got to step #20 when it says:

"On vehicles with an air temp. sensor install the provided rubber grommet into the (hole) on the k&n intake tube, then push the stock air temperature sensor into the gromment"

The problem is, on the intake tube that I was sent to me doesn't have the other hole it's talking about to put in my air temp. sensor? Have this happen to anyone else? Was there a 2nd hole or did you have to cut one out to put your air sensor in?

Wish I could help but I'm going to tell you to drill a hole put the grommet in there and be done with it but seeing as how you just bought it thats the last thing your going to want to do.

There was a hole there already for mine... maybe you got a defective part.
