i need pics

hey just wondering if you guys could help me out im doing the transmission swap and was wondering where the reservoir for the manual trans is on the 3.0 2000...

i looked at my roomates and his is way different than mine, he has an 02 and 4.0...

so before i just screw it somewhere if i had a pic and maybe missed it that would help out a lot

yeah thats a totally different animal your comparing apples to grapefruit...


stop by a local ford dealer and ask to look under the hood... I dont think that there are any differences... Id post up a pic but I dont have a camera

damn...

yeah i know there completely different but his has an obvious mounting point..

i just don't wanna go to ford its out of the way and don't wanna waste any time i plan on having her running tonight.

i only have to put in the transfer case, hook up drive shafts, cap radiator, bleed hydraulic line, and im sure something else...
haha

The clutch fluid resivour(however its speeled) is mounted to the passenger side of the engine bay fuse box. It kinda slides in and there's a plastic push rivet(much like the interior push rivets and mudflap push rivet things) that located one end and holds it into place.

During my buddy's auto to manual swap, we just self tapped it to the fire wall.

mine is right bechind the fuse box and the fender its a pain to get to lol i can get pictures tomarow if some one wants them

nice thanks yeah that was where i figured it was suppose to go... in the area. but my engine fuse box i guess is what its called, is a little bit different... so i just mounted it to the firewall...

thanks for the response...

i think i will be able to get everything done except for bleeding the clutch line. im by myself... and it is cold as sh*t in my garage...

haha yeah it is i almost put mine there but could barely access the cap so i moved it...
