I know, but I am looking at it from an effective standpoint. Since the new tires are taller, I really only have a 3.42 as far as for power to the pavement goes....

nah, it seems to be ok, the old steel wheels i had didn't help much.
when i had the splash rims on it seemed to be a little sluggish at times, but its fine now that i have alloy rims.

a 31" tire is as big as i would go with a 3.73 gear though, anything more might make it slow(er).
