Who said putting a duratec throttle body on was hard! 56k warning!

Well mocked up my throttle body today and well i do believe i have found a better throttle body for the 3.0L with the plastic upper intake. this throttle body is from the 2.5L SVT contour. Very close to the original just 10mm bigger. i have researched and it said it is from the 3.0L duratec but it doesn't look like it. any who here are some pictures and you be the judge.

If you notice on the picture above the notch on the top is much smaller and very very close to the original.

Here it is mounted.

hoping that since it is closer to the original i will not have to do the jbweld trick and just make a gasket for it and change up where the throttle cable is located. If you find an 2.5L svt throttle body for a decent price grab it!!!!! I am kinda worried about the little finger on on the throttle body where it hooks up to the intake manifold. ill keep everyone posted. im hoping to have it on asap!

good news i will not have to Jb weld as much... Bad news im either going to have to cut a IAC tunnel on the top following the specs of the old one as close as possible. or get rid of it once i get done cleaning it. Im thinking about trying to dremel an IAC tunnel very carefully.

I saw the post about using a throttle body adapter and a mustang throttle body. What adapter and where can I get one?

i was going to do the 60mm throttle body mod with a different throttle body then the usual ones used. I started on the project and school and work got into the way. now that its Christmas and i found a good deal on a supercharger im going the supercharged route. which means i will not need the throttle body because i will hopefully be able to get a 68-73mm throttle body for the m90 from the mustang cobras.
