Still cant get engine to start..help someone!!!
My 1993 3.0L that i replaced the engine in won't start on its own anymore...i'm not sure where to look anymore. I replaced the engine..put new clutch in..new starter, new battery, etc...drove the truck for 4 months..no problem...then one night i stopped at the convenience store and when i got back in and went to start it...it wouldn't do anything..it just went "CLICK"...so i rolled it backwards and popped the clutch and it fired right up as if i'd used the ignition. And every since then i cannot get it to start..i'v already replaced the starter again..starter solenoid...just cant get it to start by using the ignition. All it does is turns over really really SLOW..as if the starter is not getting enough juice to it to start the truck...can someone lead me in the direction i need to be going in??? My truck has been down for a month now..so i'm kinda getting impatient on this truck...just need her on the road again. thanks in advance guys

Wait till dark.Open the hood and have someone turn the engine over while you watch the cable connections under the hood.Look at the battery terminals, the bat.cable connections to the stater solenoid, and the connection to the starter. Also watch the ground connections.
Have the front of the truck in the darkest area you can find.
Look for any arcing,it'll stand right out.
Have your helper turn the key a few times.
Any spark you see will most likely be the trouble spot.

ive seen this happen alot the battery cables can corrode under the plastic cut the cable until there is no discolor on the cable.thats what it sounds like.if you have a meter you can test the voltage to the starter at the starter,if the cable is bad then it will drop making u think it is the battery.we had this problem in our shop last week took us a few hours but we got it hope this works
