Kick down cable position
 

I just added the throttle cable mod on my '93 XLT 3.0L and really like the result with just one zip tie on the throttle side.

My question is whether the kick down cable is supposed to have that much slack in it. I don't see how it serves any function like this. I can't move the cable in or out by hand, so I assume it's attached at the other end. Is it supposed to be like this?
