BAMA Race tune...possible?

So I'm probably going to order a BAMA tuner and some pulleys soon(actually I'm not sure...I can't completely make up my mind). And I'm wondering about the race tune. It says it requires "extensive engine mods" and since there arent really any mods I would consider "extensive" besides the whipple...I'm wondering if what mods I will have will qualify for a race tune.

I have JBA headers, JBA EVOL exhuast, K&N FIPK, and I will have the Pulleys.

If not I suppose that is fine, but I would like to know. I'm thinking I should get 87 mileage, 87 perfomance, and 91 performance. Any suggestions?

EDIT: oh and I need to know what my gear ratio is...how do I find that?

A race tune is more suited for an engine that has been worked over internally with performance components. For your truck, read: overkill.

Rollers & Rockers
Cam
Fuel Rail
Fuel Injectors
Spark plugs & wires

I'm sure there are a ton of other things that most weekend warriors will never bother with on the Vulcan or 4.0

Larger valves...
Port/Polished heads/intake system...
Recalibrated MAF...
E-fan...
Forged Pistons/Rods...

You could even have the crank knife-edged if you like, but you'll need a super-duper a higher-volume oil pump and bigger oil pan...

There's a few more for you... you could make a list of things.

Then there's the transmission mods... you could just get the whole thing rebuilt and have everything added in like several other members have done.

I'm willing to mentally support the fastest 3.0L Ranger out there... I might even send you $5 if I ever get my new debit card in, but don't count on it... haha.

actually if someone was going to build a race ready 3.0L ranger I'd send $5 to them. Even like $15 I'd love to see it.
