MAF mod question

MAF mod question
is it necessary to reset the PCM after you do this, and if so how do i go about reseting it?

unhook the battery for 15 minutes to 1/2 hour.

Then hook it back up, start the truck

I have heard you can unhook both terminals then touch them together and it will be reset.

Unhook negative cable and turn on the headlight switch for 30 seconds.

There is no need for a PCM reset after the MAF mod.
