I'll try and take a pic and post it later, but I just basically cut the new boot in half maybe three quarters and took out the steering link and placed it over the torn one. It was real tight getting it on because of the accordion effect on the boot. I might still try and add a zip tie but I think it will stay just like that. I think the boots are more like a reservoir so it shouldn't have to hold too much pressure. Also when taking off the steering link just remove the rod that goes to the knuckle.
