Help please!?!?!

My ranger is missing out bad.
I have a 2001 3.0L vin "V" and the code says that the 3rd cylinder is missing out.
possible cuases:
Plugs, Plug wires, ignition coil
incorrect fuel pressure
Vaccum leak

I did check the vaccum lines, and the plugs have about 15K miles on them. All the wiring connections appear clean and tight.

I did pull the spark wire off the third cylinder and thier is no spark. To me this says the coils pack has gone bad but before I spend the money I wanted to get the opinions and ideas from others that may have delt with this

OK, I changed the coil pack, that seemed to be the problem, now I need to figure out how to reset the check engine light.

Undo your negative battery cable, turn on the headlights, wait 30 seconds and put the battery cable back on and it will be gone.
