4x4 not working

I lock the hubs, little shifter won't move. Maybe it's shot? Where can I look and what can I do to fix this?

could be a pressure regulator that went out, or something is blocking the shifter? Had a similar deal with a Jeep Wrangler... shifting solenoid went bad and the transfercase shifter was stuck
