Mystery vacuum line help!
Hey everyone! so this is my first post on the site and i have a little problem with my 1990 Ranger it has a 2.9 v6 that runs good but i’ve found a stray vacuum line in the engine bay thats sucking, but only one end is attached i have some pictues here. If you have any idea where it might go or what is does i’d really appreciate the help!

On the drivers side try EVAP solenoid
EVAP Canister(Black box) is usually on the drivers side rad support, it has a vacuum line that runs to the gas tank, and then a vacuum line that runs to the engine, EVAP solenoid/valve is on this line But plug it until you find its "home" Driver side, at the bottom of your first picture, is the FPR(fuel pressure regulator), it has a vacuum line Passenger side is the vacuum reservoir(on top of heater box) I don't think 1990 2.9l had an EGR system |
Fixed!
