need opinions

i was driving my 04 edge 3.0L and someone was turning in front of me when i went to hit the gas nothing happened, this was because the truck shut off, and wouldnt start back up until i let it sit for a while on the side of the road. this happened three times . on the third time i hit the fuel pump reset switch and it started right up. it hasnt broken down ever since but i'm worried something still wrong, possibly the fuel filter, i dont know.

how many miles do you have? if you're under 36k its still under warranty, even if your not the first owner.

I would have the fuel pump looked at. They are notorious for failing. I have had three done on My 01. The one time it had a similar thing happen. Just a thought.
