Volant CAI
Can someone tell me what the difference between a 2002 and 2003 3.0 intakes are? Volant makes a kit with a box (i want one with a box) for a 2002 then skips 2003 and makes a 2004-2008 kit.

I don't think there was any difference in 02 and 03. 04 is when they changed it.

Yeah mine looks exactly like that

I sent an email to jusnes... But everywhere I search it just says 02. Not 03. They make an 03 without a box, but I want the box...

I don't see why one for an 02 wouldn't work for your 03 unless something is different about the MAFS housing.

I sure hope not, we'll see what jusnes says.

I've been wanting a CAI for a while now, but everyone has said that most without boxes are pointless so I figured Volant would be a good choice.

I don't have 250$ to spend at the moment haha, plus I want roller rockers pretty bad too and they're on sale...

Get the roller rockers. You'll see more of a change with those than a CAI.
