Need some help, fast!
I've got quite a problem on my hands. I got my codes run this morning, and it turns out it was my rear oxygen sensor. I bought a new one, and procceeded to remove the old one. After some fighting, the old one came off, but it took some of the threads in the bung with it. Now my new Bosch won't thread in. I can get it started, but as soon as I get one or two turns, it pops out. I tried threading the old one back on with no luck. Any advice???

go a exhaust shop and have them weld in a new bung or get the O2 sensor in there and put a tack weld on it to hold it

JB weld.....or helicoil.

JB weld if you wanna do it yourself, otherwise a welding shop if you don't trust your own work

ya you could re-helie coil it

Thanks for the responses guys... I actually ended up searching the web for a good hour, when I found a site that talked about stripped spark plug threads. Turns out that Auto Zone sells a thread chaser for only 5 bucks that works with 14 and 18mm threads, so I picked that up. After a half hour or so of working that back and forth, I got it! Thanks anyway guys, hope to talk to you again soon! :)
