Converting a 2001 to the Composite Intake...

... Do you think it is easily doable?
Is it worth it?

From what I read the Escapes 60MM Throttle Body will fit perfect with the Composite intake, seems like a cheaper route from buying the $230 mustang TB.
Plus don't the composites stay cooler?

Depending on what type of composite it is... it could be fiberglass or kevlar or carbon fiber, but - yes - usually composites stay cooler than rubber and plastic.

I've never heard anyhting about Escapes' parts fitting the Rangers... That'd be something to check into...

See if you can't find the parts for cheap on eBay or w/e and that way you won't cry if it doesn't fit...
