New Ranger owner
Hello to all,
I have owned fords my whole life F350 and up,this is my first experience with a lil ranger.
I hopes of continued bliss I let my wife talk me into selling 69 fastback;damn had her for over 21 years, the car not the wife...
New to your form here, have watched for awhile some pretty smart guys out there!
Hope to be of help some day.
Question, Fan clutches seem to be a issue would it make more sense just to go to a flex fan sure would be cheeper what would be the negitive side ?
2002 3.0 manual trans 2x4, replacing clutch today heard bleeding the new slave is a *****
any other things I should watchout for?
In closing LOVE this 2002 edge!!!

Years ago I ran a flex fan on a 2.3 Mustang, and it didn't last long.
The problem was cracking in the fan blades, and I took it off after the
cracks appeared. Just didn't seem safe to me.
As far as efficiency goes, it's hard to beat a stock fan with a thermostatic
clutch.
Glad you like the EDGE, I like 'em too.
