1999 Ford Ranger
I had her for 14 of her 15 years.. It is a great truck, very dependable. A problem is starting to arise. Leaking oil.. from where? I dont really know. I checked the head gaskets, it seems dry, however underneath, is a different story. I had my oil changed and the guy underneath said i had a oil leak, i was not sure if he said head gasket or oil pan, he did say it was a small leak.
Today i left for work from my residence, i noticed a oil spot, not an puddle but a wet spot under my truck, thought it was water or something i felt it it felt like clean oil. Now I am here at work, I went outside three hours later to look to see if there was a oil spot.. no..
The truck is running great, no hard starts, no rough riding, no rough ideling, not miss firing.. so the question is, how do i know if it could be the head gasket or oil pan..
about the truck..
