all 6 sparks auto-backed out
long story real short...truck used to bog real bad when wheeling on after a long sit in the rain. got fed up and starting pulling pieces off to inspect, seal and dry. go to my plugs and all 6 were so loose I could walk them out by hands.
I torque them down with a torque wrench last time I did a complete change, so what in the world would cause all of them to back out to the point where I could twist em out with a cool block? I thought it was strange.
well needless to say I replaced them all, and all the wires as well. 180,000 on the stockk motorcrafts and she runs 2X as good, and doesnt bog a bit.

no damage whatsoever, They were still sealed up good enough to the point that I didnt notice any immediate loss of compression till outside air and water got in and screwed up the ratios.
also they were washer-less plugs. which makes no sense to me. they are tapered at the end but every plug ive ever seen from big to small has a washer to prevent just this. so im totally at a loss as to what would back all my plugs out by 1/2 to a full turn
