Up here in Canada I don't think we have ethanol in our gas, I've left my other cars sit in a heated garage for months over the winter with no problems, but those are carbureted though, so that may make a difference.

There's allot of talk with ethanol gas not lasting more then a month just sitting around over at the Jag forums.
So could be bad gas...

its raining again jeff! ill tell it to head your way lol! i will check tomorrow to make sure i plugged the pvc back in and got the egr pipe tightened up and check all the vacuum lines

Yeah, you must be getting all our rain.
It's rained here, but not much.
We used to have days days of rain, but not anymore.
Who knows what winters going to bring though...

lol the pcv was out of the valve cover, i didnt tighten up the the egr pipe to valve, but i found the problem! the vacuum hose to the fuel evap can broke, replaced and she runns better that new!

cheese man, sorry to say but my truck is a mid year 95 with 96 parts from the factory. aka the ignition module is the ecm. the second head gasket fixed the popping through the intake, the running ruff was my fault in not checking that every thing was tight and plugged back in correctly! the broken vacuum line cost me a whole whopping $0.98. the wallet was stugglin to pay for that hose! lol
