gibson split rear exhaust

I was looking into the gibson split rear exhaust system for my 3.0. The wierd thing that I have ran across is that some sites say that this kit is compatible with 4x4 models, and other sites say it isnt. Does anyone have this system on their 4x4 truck? And also, why would it not be compatible with 4x4 models? One last thing, if anyone has this kit on their 3.0, is it loud or pretty mild?

The reason some exhaust setups dont work with the 4x4's, is the entire 4x unit in the front.. it gets in the way of some systems.. nothing a little custom bending wont get to work though.. you can literally put any exhaust on any vehicle.. you just have to be able to bend a few pipes into a more "locatable" spot.
