To Drop or Not to Drop (86' Ranger)

To Drop or Not to Drop (86' Ranger)
I have a pretty nasty oil leak in my 1986 Ford Ranger. I have yet to find out where exactly the leak is coming from. But while I'm replacing the radiator I figured I will go ahead and do a complete gasket replacement as well as the oil seals.
Do I have to drop the motor for gasket/oil seal replacement or can I leave the motor in the truck and do it while I have a little extra room while the radiator is out?
Thanks in Advanced for the responses. I'm off to work now.

On my 85, my stepdad and I found a bad leak coming from the valve cover gaskets. If i was you i would check this out and replace them before getting into the oil pan gasket or anything more difficult. Im not sure if you have to drop the motor for any other seals but the valve cover gaskets aren't horrible to get to.
