Thermostat Housing Unit

I bought a 1993 V6 3.0L ranger, i went to change the gasket around the Thermostat housing unit and the tops of the bolts came off. Is there a way to remove them? Note the bolts are also stripped.

Reverse Drill bit and "easy out" would be what to use, but if the bolts are stripped the holes may be damaged as well.
I believe 1993 3.0l will have an aluminum intake, you would need to re-tap the holes and possibly redrill for larger bolts.

OR

Call local wrecking yards and get price on Lower Intake manifold, the 3.0l Vulcan engine was used in many Ford models, and the Lower intake should be the same on most, but wrecking yard will have that info.
Also gasket set for lower/upper intake cost

Weigh the options/costs and get what you think is best
