Hi guys, I have an 2008 3.0L ranger (5-Speed) with just under 80,000 km's on her.

I'm noticing for the last little while, when I start her up cold, and then get going, right after I shift (usually from 2nd to 3rd) there's a rattling type of sound. As soon as I accelerate, and get the revs up, it goes away, and i never hear it in the 4th or 5th gears.

I'm thinking it could be the cat. converter, but I'm unsure.. I have to drive 2500 km's in two days, next week and I was wondering if anyone had any ideas of what the sound could be?
