Leave it. You will be disappointed with the end result. Maybe just roller rockers and exhaust. That way you get the nice jump from the rockers and a nice sound from the exhaust.

I don't even think its worth it for my 4.0 so that's why I stopped.

Step 1: Remove the 3.0
Step 2: Install a 5.0

Roller rockers. They open the valves more because the ratio is different and they are lighter than the stock parts which makes more power.

They free up lost horsepower by reducing friction. Stock ratio is 1.6, so if you went to a 1.7 or 1.72 you will increase valve lift some and improve top end horsepower. Might add 5 HP to the wheels...

I did a cat back on mine. Other than that just really good maintenance. I replaced my cat, fuel filter, air cleaner, did a wally world/ Gumout special injector cleaner (I have heard it is BS but it helped a lot.) Those things helped the most. I also did Seafoam which helped. Be sure the wires are good, the plugs are good, O2 sensors are good. With all the maintenance done it runs nice. I don't think it is that slow but adequate. It can run smoothly and reliably. I towed a 2500# travel trailer with mine for thousands of miles and it was fine. Do change all the fluids when you are supposed to as well. When the trailer was down to 2000# it was fairly nice to drive.

People talk about underdrive pulleys (do a search) but I can't say from experience. Also E-fans, intakes, if yours is a 93-97 you may not find an intake though. I have also heard good things about MSD but a 180 Vulcan will never be a 3.0 SHO, not for any reasonable amt. of money.
