you mean you want to keep it on the truck just seclude it more out of sight? or do you want a piece of straight pipe put in in place of the muffler? -Mike-

you probably don't have to cut anything. Probably just need some exhaust hangers to bring the exhaust up higher. Summit Racing has some. Or you can probably just go down to the parts store and get some. -Mike-

the second line contradicts the first one..

unless your a good welder who can weld reallly thin metal it aint gonna work, plus its probably going to sound like crap

just go down the Autozone, pick up a $15 cherry bomb, have someone rig up a hanger to hang it from where the stock one goes.. thats how mines done, except i did all the rigging, except welding the bent pieces together

i would go get a pic but my battery is dead

what do you wanna hide? the tailpipe or the muffler?
if it's the tailpipe it's easy just cut out the pipe just after it comes down after the axle and remount a hanger.

if it's the muffler go to a muffler shop and have them cut the muffler out and put bends in it so it sits higher under the truck.
