I wouldn't be spraying cold water all over my engine bay with everything hot after muckin' it...

First thing that comes to my mind, is the thermostat. There is no way this is an airflow issue if its worse at 60mph than it is going slower. Load isn't going to overcome 60mph air through the radiator to overheat, unless something else is wrong.

Heres what you do...

-Check coolant level, at the radiator (not the overflow) COLD. DONT POP THE CAP OFF HOT BLONDY... Check level in the overflow (reservoir)...

Is the coolant green or brownish? Does it feel oily if you rub it between your fingers? Can you see a filmy layer on the coolant?

Also, is there any "bubbling" in the overflow tank?

Could be alot of things. My biggest concern would be that the motor got dominated with cool water RIGHT after floggin' it...

Just an update for those who care :)

First 3LiterBeater. I stopped to eat before going to wash it off before I sprayed it down with cold water. Come on. I know these things.

Next. I solved my problem. On Saturday I got up in my engine bay and washed the radiator behind really good and there was ALOT of mudd still in there. That sucked. THEN I changed my radiator fluid (all by myself might I add, thanks to Shane). And my truck is ALMOST golden now.

PS- I have ordered my bumper brackets...FINALLY and they should be here soon. YaY! and the window. sigh. Another story.

Ray- They dont meet up there anymore. Got busted up. Those people are a bunch of trouble now anyways. Like 3 of the guys I used to hang out with up there are in jail now. Sucks BUT on the flip side. I found a new place to have a meet in Orlando that is MUDDY and almost as fun as River Ranch when its wet out! :D Tell me that doesnt excite you as much as it does me. Anyways you have my number. Give me a jingle sometime if your bored and want to go out there.
