what size gas tank do i have???
 
i have 99 ranger.. regular cab, short bed, 3.0 fleetside?


im trying to figure out mpg's and was wondering

fuel tank size doesnt factor into mpgs at all...

but you have a 16 gallon more then likely... its in your manual if you wanna double check...

For fuel mileage....just divide miles driven (Shown on your odometer if you reset it last time you fueld up) by number of gallons you just filled the tank with.

IE: 300 miles driven and 15 gallons of gas pumped into gas tank = 20MPG. :smile:

correct, except that would be the tripometer not the odometer.

i have a 1994 3.0 supercab 4x4 stick shift, what size tank do i have?

the truck didnt come with a manual and i cant find it in my haynes.

Good point. You could still use the odometer if you wrote down how many miles it showed when you last filled up then subtract that from whatever it shows at the gas station.

Being a super cab, I'd assume 19.5 gallons. :smile:

its hard to find out how big you gas tank is. the only way i found out is by running out this winter :blackeye: (i dont recommend that unless you have a gas can in yur truck)
