Well I do 3 every weekend, so 2 should be no problem. I have a 4.0 mind you, but the comparison is similar. My friend Jesse have the 3.0, and he takes 2 normally when we go riding.

I don't think you'll have a problem.

Ricky used to do it all the time with his 3.0. You should be good to go.

i dunno, i like towing with my truck, with its short wheel base and its beefed up rear end, its fun to out turn and park the bigger boys, plus not spending 988769 on fuel

Youll be fine man. I have pulled 2 with mine plenty of times. Mine is a 4.0, but the truck itself should handle it fine.

it better... my 96' had the 2.3 manual and i pulled 2-Honda TRX450R's on a 5'x12' trailer with a Honda Foreman Rubicon in the bed. it was a 60 mile highway drive doing 55mph in 4th gear. that was the max i pulled with that truck.

my current ranger, has the 4.0, and i have yet to find something i cant pull...

With my bed full and my trailer full i towed almost the full 8000# GCVWR. It handled it though it likes pulling less. I had the truck weighing about 4500 and the trailer weighing about 3300# or so. It may have been a little over because i had gotten rid of some stuff at the point I weighed it.

It never complained or came remotely close to overheating in thousands of miles. I did have a tranny cooler though. Now I usually tow about 6000 GCVW. The trailer at about 2000- 2200# and the truck 3500- 4000#. That is comfortable though you do know you are towing.
