talk all the **** you want I left a 4.0 watching my tailgate on the way home and it can be done again and again at any stoplight while you explain to your girlfriend why you cant do anything but look at my *** end.

Most of the people on this site that bash mods have never even seen a wrench before.
So you people that don't really know what your talking about should shut down and take your 4.0 talk where it belongs.

As it has been said before. Headers,roller rockers,tune,4:10 gears and pulleys will all help performance of a 3.0.
Any time you improve airflow in [1.7 Roller rockers] and out [Headers] of a internal combustion motor you will see gains.Pulleys reduce drag on the accessories and a tune will give you throttle response and control shift firmness on a automatic.
My best advice is do what feels right for you and F the negative people who have no real advice.

Its a sweet feeling when you tell some cockster that you will meet them on Friday for Freaky Friday to do a few runs and all you do is properly yank them... and I do mean properly, and say after the 3rd run with the guy, people begin to notice how fast you are going and people comment and say hey nice ranger. To this day there is a 03 ranger 4.0 lowered 4/5 with 17's catback and cold air intake, that thinks I have a factory freak/ 4.0 with 3.0 valve covers
