ok yah i havent exactly benn taking in to easy on my truck the laste few weeks. mud pits are so tempting and i cant resist the erge to go in them. and i was doing donuts today and when i hit like 5k i have a stick it sounded alot difrent then when like other types of vehicles rev that high it did it in first and second i only did like 6 donuts and i decided to stop because somebody was watching me and it sounded funny. not bad but just diffrent. i dont know how to decribe it it was like a normal rev to like 3.5k then it sounded alot diffrent. i dont know you probly have no clue what im talking about but o well i was at like 5k when doing the donuts is that bad for it it was only like 3 donuts in first and 3 donuts in second then i was done. and do the 99 have rev limiters in them because my tack only goes to 6k and there is no red like on it. thanks for all the help

would i work if i bored out my cylinders and cleaned up the engine a little bit? or would it still be too much of a problem for the engine to handle the boost? or is there any other way to do it b/c i really want to put the s/c on.

Josh, spend $20 for a compression check. This will give a good indication of the health of the motor. If it all checks out, I (me) would have no problem running the whipple with the stock boost levels.
