will it work ?

if i buy this and take it to a muffler shop can the put it on my truck and make it a dual exuast ??

you want 2.5" in not 3"

but yeah your local shop can bend all the pipes for you to make duals

As a general rule, you'll lose low end torque as you increase the diameter of your exhaust pipe. It's a back-pressure issue.

it will work but you want nothing bigger than 2.5inch... and 2.25 inch is even better... just make sure that if you have them put the pipes out the back that they dont put them too close to the spare tire or else it can get burned by the pipes
