Keypad install

Has anyone installed a keypad on an XLT? We have a 2022 and want to install and program the keypad. I am wondering whether I can use forscan to program the pad. Thanks in advance

I believe dealer must program if it was not a factory install, but not totally sure.

I think you are right. It get's programmed like the key fobs.
