Yes, that looks like North American version for 2019 but is the T6 International version, with turbo diesel engine

2019 Ranger sold here only has one engine option, 2.3l ecoboost, gasoline engine, 285HP and 305 torque, which is great but this is a heavier platform

Also, the only transmission will be the newer 10-speed automatic, this is needed for the automated 2WD and 4WD system, manual trans would take away the automatic traction control options

Schools still out on the 10-speed, joint venture between Ford and GM, yes they cooperated on this rear wheel drive trans, as they are on front wheel drive version

Many feel 6-speeds are enough for any situation and the extra ratios are window dressing and just more things to go wrong, lol, I guess like everything time will tell

2-speed automatics had problems
3-speed as well
4 and 5 speed did too
But I don't think there were more problems based solely on more gears, i.e. 5-speed didn't have 3 times more problems than 2-speed because it had 3 more gears, lol

 

It looks good and when American version will be launched ?

Is the north American version Raptor also gets the same engine?

IMO...a 2.3 or 2.7 EB in there would have been a better choice.

Looks damn sexy, though.

I wanna see a swap of the full-size Raptor 3.5 EB into this thing.
