Hope it's true, and hope there is a diesel version.

Not sold on the looks...I feel like it is trying real hard to be a Sport-Trac almost.

I'm a fan of the "classic" Ranger. First time I saw a Sport Trac I couldn't figure out why anyone would want one.
Just my personal preference

If they came out with a diesel I would be all over it

Bed is sooooo short. Can't even get a sheet of plywood in it. Really don't need 4 doors. I'm disappointed :-(

New Ranger

I saw a European version in Germany last July at FRA. It did remind me of a Sport-Trac. It had a short bed with a topper and had "RANGER" big and bold on the tailgate.

I am afraid the new Ranger is going to be almost as big as the F150 with an anemic engine and a bed that is 5' or less.
