steering Column?

Ladies and Gentleman!
Hello, I hope somebody knows the answer. To my question. First if I am working a 2002 Ford Ranger XLT, ext, cab, 3.0 V6 Gas. Auto trans.
Will a steering column from a 2004 fit the 04 is the exact same truck as the 2002???.
Are the electrical connectors the same?
Direct bolt in?
I hope?
