So I should recheck the ohms while the truck is turned on and slowly open the throttle and they should drop?

yes .

but 1 st . go to the dealership and test a new TPS sensor ( that is what i would do )

your TPS sensor is probably so worn out , it is providing ohms resistance that the ECM cannot understand

New fuel filter, new plugs 2 cranks and she fired right up and idles beautifully. Thanks for your help gents learned a lot
